Cavallo Point Wedding- Sausalito, CA

September 11, 2012 Posted by - Anna

Today I'm sharing a beautiful wedding we worked on in July. Cavallo Point is perfectly perched on a hillside just north of the Golden Gate Bridge, allowing for some of the most stunning city views. It's always a treat to visit this venue, and this wedding was no exception.

We had fun with this bold color palette of reds, plums, and burgundy. Combining fun textural elements such as raspberries, clematis vines and local grasses, with lush garden roses, sweet peas, and hydrangea created quite the dreamy combination.

Huge thanks to Gina and Dana from En Luce Photography for the wonderful images below.

San Francisco Wedding- Swedenborgian Church & Town Hall

May 04, 2012 Posted by - Anna
Here's a peek into our first wedding of 2012. I love a spring wedding, and this bold color palette.

The Swedenborgian Church is one of my favorite ceremony venues, and I was excited to finally work at Town Hall Restaurant. I'd heard great things, and indeed- beautiful food, gorgeous space and a great team.

I really enjoyed working with this bride on event design, and we came up with some fun details that made the tables just so rich and elegant. Vintage inspired glass, filled with all the spring goodness of rannunculus, anemones, icelandic poppies and mattress vine were placed on top a table runner of clementine French satin ribbon. We found a beautiful way to present the couple's Ghiradelli chocolate Golden Gate Bridge favors inside a gold leaf wrapped paper box, and also made a custom menu for each place setting. Not to mention the super special and sweet custom San Francisco neighborhood table names made for us by Stewey over at Hello! Lucky.

We had the pleasure of working with Stacy McCain Event Planning on this wedding who did an outstanding job.

And huge thanks to Gertrude and Mabel Photography for their gorgeous images below!Shannon blog

Mill Valley Outdoor Art Club Wedding- Elegant & Whimsical DIY Details

January 15, 2012 Posted by - Anna

We worked on this lovely wedding in October. The bride and groom were full of great ideas and infused the day with so many sweet, personalized touches.

Handmade programs, rose petal cones, and seventeen individual guest books (one for each table) were designed and created by the bride and her mother. As favors, the bride’s sisters who are both accomplished photographers, created postcards that featured beautiful images from their travels.

Another fantastic detail- instead of wedding cake, this couple chose wedding pie. And the pie wouldn't have been complete without the FUN handmade toppers made by the bride, which actually resembled the couple.

Loop designed all floral arrangements. We loved working with this couple and their creative team, which included Julie Nunn Martin of I DO! Events and Laura Grier of Beautiful Day Photography.

Beaulieu Garden - Majestically Beautiful Wedding Venue

September 27, 2009 Posted by - Anna
This wedding at Beaulieu Garden in Napa is our new favorite. Loop just installed this wedding yesterday, and is was such a delight to be on this majestic and gloriously beautiful property.

I love this palette. Usually if a bride says she looking at a palette in red and yellow, it can sound a little circusy. But you add in a slate gray and the palette becomes more stylish and sophisticated. We made the floral palette work by using three colors of red, most importantly working with a medium red and an almost black dahlia and mixing it with only buttery yellows. Eliminating green foliage and using plum branches as a foliage made the palette rich and luxurious.

I had the lovely team Yami and Luis working with me yesterday, and as Luis and I returned from the ceremony site, Yami bounded up and declared that the tables looked AMAZING. When Luis and I turned the corner and saw the tables all set with the flowers, we both said, at the same time, "I just got goosebumps". I don't feel the pictures do it justice, is was that pretty. I mean, it made a DUDE say "I just got goosebumps".

I think this palette for a September wedding was such a delicious take on Autumn: light and lux and luxurious.

Hopefully I have more images to share soon.
