More Rustic Containers

August 11, 2009 Posted by - Mary Lois and Anna
A few more options of rustic fun containers are zinc tins (which can also have a more formal look), painted enamel tins (which you can buy in a variety of fun colors), blue mason jars (which you can find on EBay), and a rusty tin (which I'm obviously fond of because I've showed it more than a couple of times now).

By the way, we do make arrangements that don't have orange in them. Not very often, but we do, we can, honestly.

Yes You Can - Rustic Containers

August 06, 2009 Posted by - Mary Lois and Anna

Sorry, I couldn't help myself with the little can pun.

Here are more options for a rustic theme. I'm very fond of the bark wrap. And tin cans are a fun and affordable option for the right setting. You can dress them up with ribbons, bark, strips of fabric, or use them plain.
And, you can easily do all these YOURSELF. If, you're so inclined.

A Rustic Style Wedding - Choosing Your Container

August 05, 2009 Posted by - Mary Lois and Anna
The dining table is typically where the wedding couple spends the bulk of their floral budget. Few venues are appropriate for these cute little rustic numbers, but they sure are fun for the right spot. Venues in the Bay Area where they work well are Rancho Nicasio, Headlands Center for the Arts, Atwood Ranch, Santa Lucia Preserve, Holman Ranch, Annadel Winery, Cornerstone Gardens, or most tented, farm, and ranch weddings.

These containers are galvanized and rusty metal tins. I like using a variety of shapes. They look great with seasonal flowers and a textured style characteristic to Loop.

Ellie and Lance - Good Chemistry

St-george-spirits
The idea was to create something modern, luscious, and relevant to the distillery. We also wanted a bit of a rustic yet elegant feel to work with the industrial environment and the barrel room. The table top was designed by Loop and fantastic menus by the dashing groom, Lance. Yummalicious flowers by Loop.

I absolutely love how this turned out and heard from the friend and Officiant that it was a lovely day for all. YEA!!

Beautiful Ceremony - Beautiful Reception

June 16, 2009 Posted by - Mary Lois and Anna
The wedding yesterday, from Alison Events, was accompanied with these lovely photos; The original story was about "ceremony" but these are so lovely, I couldn't resist posting them. The linens are custom made from vintage lace, underlays are a natural linen. Fun and elegant.
